Potato: Properties and benefits

The potato is a tuber with interesting healthy properties. It is rich in starch and therefore has a notable satiating power. They are rich in fiber and are therefore particularly suitable for promoting intestinal transit. Potatoes also have healing properties on the mucous membranes and walls of internal organs (stomach, intestine) and are therefore able to heal more or less large ulcers. They are very rich in vitamin C (very useful for the heart and for our cardiovascular system as a whole), in group B vitamins (active in promoting our metabolism and the activity of our cellular system) and in vitamin K. They are also rich in mineral salts (sodium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron etc.) and therefore useful for remineralising our body. They are also very rich in flavonoids. In particular lutein and zeoxanthin which are very useful for keeping our sight and eyes healthy. Pataat is therefore very beneficial for the human body and should be consumed as much as possible. Baked or boiled in salad combined with other vegetables or roots with strong antioxidant and detoxified properties (carrots, beets, garlic, etc.). Possibly always organic since the proximity of this tuber to fertilizers could alter its properties and cause harmful substances to be absorbed within it. Baked or boiled in salad combined with other vegetables or roots with strong antioxidant and detoxified properties (carrots, beets, garlic, etc.). Possibly always organic since the proximity of this tuber to fertilizers could alter its properties and cause harmful substances to be absorbed within it. Baked or boiled in salad combined with other vegetables or roots with strong antioxidant and detoxified properties (carrots, beets, garlic, etc.). Possibly always organic since the proximity of this tuber to fertilizers could alter its properties and cause harmful substances to be absorbed within it.
