Grapes: Properties and benefits

Grapes are a fruit with precious beneficial virtues for our body. It has notable detoxifying properties thanks to the significant quantities of antioxidants it contains. In fact, quercetin, lutein and, above all, resveratrol are present in grapes. The first is one of the most powerful antioxidants and has proven antiviral and anti-carcinogenic properties. Lutein has beneficial effects for vision and the eyeball. Resveratrol is effective in counteracting the action of free radicals and therefore has anti-aging effects. Its richness in fiber makes it precious for resolving intestinal blockage and constipation. This contributes to the efficiency of our immune system and therefore to the preservation of a good state of health. It is also particularly rich in vitamins (vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B1, B2 and B6) and mineral salts (iron, copper, potassium, sodium, magnesium etc.) which make it an excellent tonic for our body. It can be consumed raw, between meals, or even in the form of juice. It would be better to prefer black grapes to white ones. If only because in the red (or black) variety there seems to be a greater concentration of antioxidants and in particular of resveratrol. The same goes for wine. The red one is preferable as it boasts greater antioxidant and anti-aging properties than the white variety. If only because in the red (or black) variety there seems to be a greater concentration of antioxidants and in particular of resveratrol. The same goes for wine. The red one is preferable as it boasts greater antioxidant and anti-aging properties than the white variety. If only because in the red (or black) variety there seems to be a greater concentration of antioxidants and in particular of resveratrol. The same goes for wine. The red one is preferable as it boasts greater antioxidant and anti-aging properties than the white variety.
