Echinacea: Properties and benefits

Echinacea is a plant with interesting beneficial properties for our body. In particular, it appears to have anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties. It is especially beneficial in all cases of infections of the lungs (and of our respiratory system as a whole) and of our urinary system (in particular it is useful for fighting kidney infections) thanks to its capacity , to decongest and combat even serious infectious conditions. It also has anti-flu and immunostimulant properties, which helps to make our body stronger and better defended from pathogens and diseases. In addition to this, this plant also appears to have powerful antioxidant properties capable of effectively counteracting the cellular oxidation action promoted by free radicals. It also has a protective effect on our skin and is very useful (for topical use) in case of sunburn or dermatitis. It can also be consumed in herbal tea combined with other plants with similar properties. In particular, as already written above, in cases of infectious problems affecting the urinary system (cystitis, nephritis, prostatitis, etc.) and the respiratory system (pneumonia, bronchitis, etc.).
