Dandruff: Natural cures and remedies

Dandruff is a very common disorder nowadays (especially among young and very young people) and can cause not only “aesthetic problems” but also sensations of itching and burning on the scalp which can lead us to scratch continuous. It is very often caused by forms of dermatitis (including seborrheic) or excessively dry skin (it would therefore be advisable, in the presence of dandruff in the hair, to drink more and hydrate our body more). Among the various natural remedies that exist for the treatment of this annoying disorder, the most famous and effective of all is the treatment based on apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar is a true natural cosmetic and in addition to eliminating dandruff it is also able to make hair stronger, more beautiful and shinier. It can be applied directly to the scalp, pure or diluted in water, to eliminate dandruff and act, if necessary, on forms of seborrheic dermatitis (which it can effectively cure). Onion juice (especially the red one) is also very suitable for treating dandruff. It can be applied directly to the scalp (you can apply it simply by cutting an onion in two and massaging the scalp with one of the two halves). It is very effective and can solve the problem in a short time even if it has the drawback of leaving an intense onion smell on our heads. Lemon juice is also an effective remedy against dandruff. It can be applied pure or diluted in water directly on the hair (or at most it can be combined with olive oil which enhances its beneficial effects on the skin and scalp) and is able to solve the problem of dandruff in short while. To treat dandruff you can also use herbal teas for topical use. In particular, a mixed herbal tea based on nettle and burdock may be useful. In fact, these herbs have exceptional properties for the health of our scalp, to fight dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. The infusion of these precious herbs can be applied directly to the hair and is able to solve the problem of dandruff in a short time.
