Millet: Properties and benefits

Millet is a cereal with precious health virtues. It is gluten-free (and is therefore particularly suitable for all those who suffer from gluten intolerances) and is also very digestible. Thanks to its good fiber content it has very useful laxative properties for resolving constipation conditions. It appears to have the ability to prevent gallstones and promote the proper functioning of the liver as a whole. It is very rich in mineral salts (sodium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron etc.) and silica in particular. Silica has the ability to protect and strengthen hair, nails and hair and is therefore indicated for the prevention of pathological states of the same or also for the treatment of pathological conditions already encountered. It mainly contains group B vitamins useful in particular for our metabolism and for the well-being of the nervous system. Although little used today, this cereal should be consumed regularly for the set of benefits it can bring to our body. The flour of this wonderful cereal is suitable for the preparation of a large number of products (bread, pizza, desserts, etc.) which are much more digestible than products based on flour from other cereals.
